* Three of the dolphins were found alive. Four were found dead, while "another dolphin had to be euthanized."
The three surviving dolphins "were taken from Wellfleet by volunteers from the Cape Cod Stranding Network to Herring Cove Beach in Provincetown, where they were released. The volunteers worked under the supervision of a veterinarian and two biologists from the New England Aquarium in Boston." |
